Koha implementation for IMAR – Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy
Koha modifications based on Koha 2.2.5 :
- interface customizations
- changes to the standard groups
- small configurations such as rights based changes of the Intranet pages
- changes to the virtual shelfs system
- a plugin, to integrate the classification scheme used by the American Mathematical Society for papers on mathematical subjects. The plugin connects to the AMS website, identifies and saves the AMS classification code into a new biblioitem, based on ISBN.
We recently migrate the database and settings from the original version to Koha 3.0.4.
Koha implementation for “Eftimie Murgu” University
Our client is a Romanian University which chose Koha for a new Library Management System.
Implementation and settings:
- Koha translation in Romanian. We installed the first version of Koha translated in Romanian.
- interface customization, graphic layout for the Online Public Access Catalog
- custom MARC biblio framework, to cover the structure of the previous database
- administrative setting, users with access and action rights
- custom Zebra search and mapping
- initial setting of authority fields and values
- custom field for librarian signature
- custom reports and database interrogations
