Is a web module which provides smartcard cryptographic support to J2EE based applications.

Is a concept application which demonstrates the integration of Nemesis IT smartweb component to provide XML digital signature, challenge response authentication, authorization and end to end encryption functionalities to any web application.

Is based on Java technologies like Open Card Framework and Java card, and is supported by both Windows and Linux browsers. The solution is integrated with Kobil reader and TCOS smartcards. Schlumberger and Omnikey readers. Cryptoflex, and Gemplus devices are also supported.

Can be easily integrated with existing Java based application in both Windows and Linux environments in order to add smarcard support and PKI functionalities.

Today e-bussiness and e-government systems need secure web environment. While connection security is provided by secure HTML connection protocol, system authentication and access management need to be provided separately. Depending on system complexity and importance, different levels of security are required. While simple systems do not need complex access mechanisms, other applications require higher security levels, which necesitate high development effort for strong authentication and authorization.

Is a low cost alternative for adding strong authentication and authorization to any web application using web servers native support. The mechanism, based on digital certificates, is simple and reliable: only the users with a certificate issued by a Trusted Certification Authority (CA) are authorized into the system. The access rights to secured data are determined based on the user information stored in the certificate.

SmartProof

Is a module offering J2EE connectivity with Windows smartcard services, providing for both standalone and web applications smartcard based PKI functionality: authentication, authorization, digital signature, end to end encryption.

Is a "proof of concept" standalone java and WebStart application created upon the SmartProof module to provide digital signature with minimal effort. We cover java connectivity with windows native smartcard support.

Has the advantage of transparent support for all crypto devices supported by Windows smartcard services. Another major benefit of the approach is the compatibility with web servers strong authentication and authorization support, providing smartcard based web authentication and authorization with minimal development effort.
